Technologies:

• Tapered Headtube: The tapered head tube broadens towards the bottom leading to better force transfer from the fork to the frame. The increased stiffness of the tapered head tube combined with the tapered fork lead to the bicycle’s improved and more direct steering.
• SCL: Specific Chainstay Length: The SCL principle: Chainstay lengths actually grow with their respective frame sizes. The ratio between chainstay lengths and wheelbase always stays the same. This yields a noticeable advantage: perfectly balanced riding performance regardless of how tall you are
• Composite Pressfit BB: Bearing shells are directly pressed – and not screwed - into the bottom bracket housing without requiring an extra aluminium insert. The increased housing width results in increased stiffness and improved stability.
• Ovalized: Oval tube cross-sections are used in order to compensate for forces and stress in specific areas of the frame. The result is a stiffer, yet lightweight frame.
• MBB: Multi-function bottom bracket: The MBB is hollow-forged and unites a total of 5 functions in only one component: 1.Bottom bracket adapter 2.Main bearing for the rear triangle 3.Connection to the down tube 4.Damper linkage 5.Connection to the seat tube
• ISCG: Our 4X and DH frames are ISCG compatible. The International Standard Chain Guide is a standardized 3-point mounting system to mount chain guides to bottom bracket shells. The advantage: Mounting chain guides does not require disassembly and reassembly of the bottom bracket.
• GQC Ghost Quality Center - We Test - You Ride: We only accept premium quality. This is why our bicycles and all components are tested according to the latest technology standards. Our test labs enable us to simulate trail and real-world riding in the lab and to fast-forward a bike’s entire life cycle within a few days. We want to make absolutely sure that you are not a part of our test series, but get a bicycle you can trust
• E-Type Direct: This technology means that the front derailleur is screwed directly onto the frame. Frame stressing shell mounting solutions are a thing of the past. The result of this system integration is another improvement yielding even lighter frames. In addition, you will also notice significantly improved performance. Thanks to the ultra-precise manufacturing process the derailleur is always perfectly located in relation to the chain ring. Crisp and supremely precise gear shifting provides even more riding fun.
• Anti Squat Technology: Clever positioning of the rear triangle pivot points eliminates squatting during pedaling (anti-squat effect) and offers efficient power transmission without unwanted bobbing. Traction is improved and negative forces are eliminated
• 3D-Hot Forging: Thanks to 3D-hot forging technology it is now possible to forge even the most difficult three-dimensional moulds. Unlike milled components, 3D forging technology yields a denser material structure of the aluminium alloy, which results in improved structural strength.
• X12:Thanks to the new X-12 rear-axle standard, it makes sense to use a through-axle system on a wider spectrum of bicycles for the first time. The Syntace X-12 system is light and yet super stiff because the hub axle is clamped tightly into the rear triangle under great axial tension.

• Smooth Ratio System: Two centimeters of travel at the rear wheel translate into one centimeter of travel at the damper. This is why the damper requires less air pressure, which in turn reduces stress on gaskets and movable parts and results in outstanding responsiveness and great durability.
• Handmade: Our bikes are assembled by hand at our headquarters in Waldsassen. Our "All under one roof“ strategy makes for short distances, a fast supply chain, and guarantees high quality assembly. We can be flexible and guarantee quicker availability of our bikes
• PM Direct: PM Direct’s screwless design and simplified adjustability has become the new chainstay standard. Mounting the brake caliper directly onto to the post results in a clean look and optimum heat transfer
• MIMS: Multiforming Integral Molding System: Our HTX models are manufactured by combining the advantages of the Lug Bonding, T2T and Monocoque processes resulting in an optimum price to performance ratio
• GCT: Ghost Custom Tubing: We do not use standardized tubesets, but develop our frames and required tubes ourselves. A lightweight, yet sturdy frame requires specifically adapted forms and wall thicknesses.
• Frame Guard: Each GHOST Lector comes with adhesive foil and a chainstay cover.
• Balanced Center of Gravity: Due to the low bottom bracket and a central damper position, the center of gravity is central and low. The perfect weight distribution guarantees neutral and balanced handling.
