Time Trial onto the Podium A tyre for saving those crucial seconds: The Podium is designed as a pure competition tyre for the lonely battle against the clock, and is used by professional race teams for the solo time trials in ProTour events like the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and others. Like the Sprinter, Continental have also tuned the Podium with Black Chili compound. To further reduce its rolling resistance Continental have reduced the thickness of the tread, compared to last years model. The Podium is wasted on the training wheels, reserve them for race day and watch your time splits fall!
